Edan, Samner, Bob, and Glenica all leave the KSS onboard Endeavor.

The shuttle sets down and the crew takes some much needed time to rest and relax! KSEA plans to do some minor upgrades on Endeavor before its next launch!
Edan, Samner, Bob, and Glenica all leave the KSS onboard Endeavor.

The shuttle sets down and the crew takes some much needed time to rest and relax! KSEA plans to do some minor upgrades on Endeavor before its next launch!
Endeavor is prepared for a mission to resupply the Kerbin Space Station with Oxygen! Edan will pilot, and scientists Samner and Glenica will head up to the station for training!
The Crew shuttle reaches orbit!
“Now we just need to rendevous and the KSS crew can breath a little easier!”
-Edan

The docking is a success, and the oxygen tanks are transferred over! KSEA Mission planners will leave Endeavor docked for the next month, before returning to Kerbin!

Enterprise launches! The mission is to investigate a sub-atomic particle that scientists have named “kuarks” – initial research has indicated that many of these particles are quite strange indeed..

Veteran scientist Orlas will oversee the research, along with Samner. Val will pilot Enterprise, and train rookie pilot Mirphe as well!

The Heavy Cargo Shuttle is testing a new science payload that essentially turns a Cargo Shuttle into a fully equipped Science Lab in space!
“Orbit achieved – we’re starting science now!”
-Orlas
Back in Mission Control, scientists anxiously await for the science data to start streaming in!

Aurora 18 arrives at Minmus, where Samner and Shepely are both very excited to see their ride home! Tamre will stay on the station for a short time, until her research partner (who has not been selected yet) arrives!
Aurora 16 arrives at Minmus, and Edan pilots the spacecraft to dock with Harmony Space Station! Glenica has been waiting for a crew for sometime now!
Aurora 17 docks! Edan and Shepley quickly transfer over to the lander, eager to get their turn down on Minmus!

Mission Planners have decided the next area for exploration will be a region in the lowlands of Minmus designated HSS LS04-A, where orbital scanners have detected an unusual anomaly.

The lander sets down – and already Edan spots the anomaly.
“That looks like one of those Monoliths! Strange though, I’d swear it was green, not black like the others!”
-Edan

Edan is right – the monolith appears to be the same dimensions as the others found, however it has a slight green hue to it. How unusual! Shepley performs all the scientific experiments he can, gets a surface sample, then the explorers return to the Research Lander!
Edan pilots the lander into orbit…
Then docks with Harmony Space Station! The crew will stay for a short time before heading back to Kerbin.
Samner, Edan, and Shepley launch on board Aurora 17! Edan is particularly excited, as this will be his first landing! This is the first launch of the overhauled Aurora Mission, utilizing a longer term habitation module, similar to that on the upcoming Explorer 2mission! The purpose is to make space flight more comfortable, and to give crews experience on maneuvers and working environments similar to those in future planned deep space missions.

The RCS Refuelling Mission to Harmony Station above Minmus arrives!
…and docking goes surprisingly uneventfully!
Looks like a good seal! This will give Harmony plenty of monopropellant fuel for future missions – good work everybody!
-Gilian
Samner and Robart prepare to head home… (Robart takes the long way, enjoying an EVA before heading home) while Gilian and Kimmy prepare for the next Harmony Space Station landing! Scientists are still figuring out the best location for HSSLS02!
Samner, Val, and Robart head home!

The Refuelling Vehicle arrives at Harmony!
The lander separates… and the Re-fueling Vehicle docks with the station. Sadly, the fuel on the vehicle was much less than hoped… future refueling missions that aren’t carrying a lander should deal with this issue.
The Minmus Research Lander arrives at Harmony! Now it’s time for Robart and Samner to get some real science done! Even with the lower than expected fuel, the station has enough reserves for 6 complete re-fills of the lander. As the lander is preloaded with fuel, this means the station can handle 7 complete landings, which on Minmus goes a long way!
“I think we should be able to visit every biome on Minmus – exciting!”
-Robart
Harmony Space Station finally reaches Minmus, and after another very long and akward burn, circularizes.
Relieved cheers and sighs can be heard all throughout Mission Control. The mission was not a complete success however. The amount of fuel required to get the Station into Minmus orbit has left it with less than half of the anticipated fuel reserves for it’s lander.
“I suppose we can send a fuel craft to refill the station. But a redesign for the next Space Station is clearly called for.”
-Robart
Meanwhile, Edan returns from Kerbin orbit – as engineers try to figure out the best way to deal with the situation on Minmus!

Edan, Robart, and Kimmy take off in the Adventure to rotate the crew on board the KSS!

After docking, Jeb, Bob, and Samner head down in the Intrepid!
“Almost there… almost there….”
-Jeb
Success! Another great landing at the VAB Airstrip!
