Things are busy at the VAB! Resolute and Enterprise are both being refurbished for their next missions, and the Crew Shuttles Endeavor and Adventure are both being outfitted with the second generation launchers! (Intrepid is currently docked at the Kerbin Space Station – it will be outfitted with a new launcher once it returns!)
Meanwhile, construction has begun on the Duna Surveyor… based off the Mun and Minmus Surveyors, this advanced probe will scan the surface of Duna for future missions!
It’s now just days until Frontier 1 reaches the influence of Sarnus – Kerbin’s longest range probe has worked well so far… although scientists note that the signal strength is only at 70 percent. Hopefully this won’t result in any lost scientific data!
Jeb, Bob, and Shepley head up in the Intrepid!
Once docked, Edan, Robary, and Kimmy hop onto Adventure, and leave the station! Meanwhile, space novice Shepeley with veterans Jeb and Bob, take command of the Station!
Adventure heads down to the surface… fast!
Thankfully, Edan sets the craft down (right before they run out of safe runway!) Another successful crew rotation of the KSS

Success! Another great landing at the VAB Airstrip!

The third shuttle, Intrepid, takes off on its first flight! Mitster pilots the craft up to the KSS. It’s time for a crew rotation! Unusually, one shuttle will fly up and take the crew that’s returning, and a second will launch and remain docked to the station. This will allow for evacuations in case of emergencies! The plan is to cycle shuttles docked to the KSS every time there is a crew rotation.
The newly launched Kerbin Surveyor begins scans of Kerbin – right away several anomalies are detected! The X-5 is sent to investigate! Mitster and Bill fly there…. quite fast!
