MunSat arrives at Mun, and is quickly ordered into a polar orbit!
MunSat was launched with plenty of fuel to spare… interstellar communications is still a pretty new concept! Meanwhile, another MunSat is prepared for launch at the Space Center – MunSat 2!
MunSat launches on top of a Discovery Rocket! After orbit is achieved, the solar arrays and communications systems are rbought online… 
MunSat begins its automated trip to Mun!
Construction begins on a new series of satellites – MunSat! Unsurprisingly, these will provide (hopefully) an extension of the KerbSat communications network to Mun, allowing future missions there to be safer and certainly much chattier!
The two satellites are identical to the KerbSat satellites, except that they will be launched on Discovery Rockets, instead of Horizons.
Mitster takes off in the new X-4 Jetplane!

Mitster pilots the craft around to take a good look at the island near the Space Center. Scientists detected faint radio signals from it! 
Hopping out, Mitster discovers that the island has a small air strip and command tower!
“Wow! This must have been where they did early flights using data from the probe – before KSEA!”

Mitster bows his head in memory of the Kerbals who certainly died at this place, trying to reach the stars. 
Wow! What a great view! I wonder what happened to all their planes!?

Discovery 2 returns from Minmus! Jebediah and Bob are both exhausted from the journey, but report being in good health! 
The Discovery 2 pod sets down in the deserts, west of the KSC.
“Wow! What a trip! I can’t wait to go back!”

Val, on board Discovery 2, returns home from the first Mun orbit! Landing just west of the KSC, some KSEA engineers are hopeful that some form of re-usable space craft might be possible, if it can be recovered so close to the Space Center!
Researchers begin pouring over the data brought back by Discovery 2, and the Kerbal Congress is extremely impressed by the feat! Rumor has it monthly funding will be markedly increased in the near future!
KSEA engineers and scientists release a secret project they’ve been working on: The X-4 Jetplane!
The successor to the first atmospheric craft built by the Kerbal States, the craft has been designed to allow one pilot to explore the areas surrounding the Space Center.
Mitster will be the first to take it up!
