The Kerbal Space Exploration Administration is excited to announce construction has begun on largest spacecraft ever made: DSV-6 Odyssey!
Odyssey is powered by two Discovery-class nuclear reactors (the same design that has powered both Discovery and Horizon class Deep Space Vehicles) and has twice the number of engines as previous Deep Space Vehicles!
With extra fuel capacity, a larger cargo bay, more robust science and communication systems, Odyssey will be the most capable, powerful, and expensive craft ever made. Once construction is complete a Nova Rocket will deliver Odyssey to orbit! Mission planners are excited to figure out Odyssey’s first destination!
The ship’s name was taken from a fragment of a story found on the OGER probe – something about going on a great adventure to a faraway place – it seemed appropriate!
i really need to re read this series…

haha thanks! I’m actually doing a little ‘history’ section that will make navigating older stories easier so look for that eventually 😁 Thanks for reading!

haha I know! 😆
If you look at the URL you’ll see year-23 or something like that. You can edit it to go to year-1 or whatever, and that will take you to a yearly view if you want in the meantime!

Hi! The second Laythe Spaceplane (Resolute) is in orbit of Laythe still! The Laythe space station stays un-crewed unless a mission is ongoing, and the Kerbals like doing docking maneuvers themselves whenever possible! Another ship (probably Intrepid?) is going to head out there for the next mission soon!
Horizon is due back in 1 year, 52 days (that is the intercept with Kerbin!)
I might start keeping a mission update timer that’s just a screencap of my Kerbal Alarm Clock! Thanks for the idea, I often wonder what my ‘kerbal calendar’ is when I’m not in game!
Thank you for reading ! 😁
